John can you explain your current 5/3/1 plan and if you are integrating kettlebells? Also, I am trying hard to combine, BB lifts, KB and Calisthenics. But I want KB C&P, and DBFS to serve as primary lifts as well as BB deadlifts, bench, pull ups and dips. Accessory lifts would be curls, tri-extensions and ab work. Trying to program this is driving me crazy. Any ideas?
Hi John, at the end of May or beginning of June, I will publish a new blog post and address your questions. It’s a really good question and I think a lot of athletes wonder how to integrate all of these things. Basically said, you would focus on your main lifts
, which you already mentioned, then you would use the other implements as accessories. This could mean that you start with your main barbell lifts, make your second block, power, strength, strength, endurance oriented with Kettlebell’s, then you finish more accessory work with body weight.
