That's amazing, thank you! I do really like the Double Clean & Jerk, I find it a maximal expression of strength and power and a cathartic movement. Life is incredibly stressful at the moment and I'm park-benching my workouts, alternating between Iron Cardio combos using the Double Jerk (1 clean, 2/3/5 jerks, 1 squat) and AXE style snatches in sets of 2, but I'm ready to kick it up a notch again and I have seen how 1050 is laid out through your work and I think it's what needs to happen next.
Nice! How would you suggest progressing option 1 (swings/jerks) further than 4 weeks?
Hi Sam! I’m glad you asked, I will update this post soon with a continuation into month 2.
However, I would recommend tweaking the load. Normally this plan works between 3 and 5 series, but we can even go to 6 series.
In March’s program design, I also give different options to add density to plan 1050.
Lastly, I will add squats to this plan which I call the “tactical cycle.” This movement is also featured on March’s program design.
